What
is the American Stock Exchange Indicator?
The
American
Stock
Exchange Index is based on the price of all the stocks
in the AMEX Exchange (about 1,000 stocks). We take that idea one step further by
adding the volume of all the stocks in the AMEX Exchange together on a minute-by-minute basis
and then apply volume technical analyses to our JavaVolume® Charts.
This becomes the AMEX Volume Indicator, an
ideal indicator for predicting future index trends.
