What is the Russell 1000
Indicator?The
Russell 1000 index measures the performance of the 1,000 largest
companies in the
Russell 3000 Index (see Russell 3000 Indicator),
which represents approximately 92 percent of the total market capitalization
of the Russell 3000 Index. We track the volume of all these components
and combine their volumes on a
minute-by-minute basis
and then apply volume technical analyses to our JavaVolume® Charts.
This becomes the Russell 1000 Volume Indicator, an
ideal indicator for predicting future index trends.
