Do your indicators
only work for day trading?
No, they also work for swing trading (mid-term trading) and long-term trading.
What
do you mean by Market Stage in the Market Outlook?
When MarketVolume talks about an uptrend or a downtrend, we are
talking about the market's trend over days to, sometimes, several
months. We do not give the trend for day trading, i.e., we don't tell
you that the market will be up for an hour and then down for two hours.
What we do give you, is information on what the overall direction of the
market will be over several days or months. So when we say 'downtrend',
that means the market is moving generally down when you look at it on a
5-day, 15-day, 30-day, or 60-day period. The best view to see how our Market Outlook correlates with the market, we suggest using a 30 day chart
with a 1-day VMA (Volume Moving Average). By knowing the general trend
of the market, you can make greater profits than if you only know where
the market will go in the immediate short-term.
Why
trade indices and their derivatives instead of stocks?
The price and volume of individual stocks fluctuate with unpredictable events
such as news, rumors and earnings reports. By tailoring our indicators for
the major market indices, we reduce the uncertainty by dealing with numerous
stocks together. The volatility of any one stock in our indicators is diluted.
How can we improve your performance?
Through the use of our exclusive on-demand, state-of-the-art technology, we
offer investors and traders like you the means to track, research and ultimately
predict shifts in market indexes.

Can your charts predict
directional changes in market indices?
Yes, that is the main reason for MarketVolume's® indicators.
Is there historical data
for the MarketVolume.com indicators?
Yes. You can analyze the history of all our indicators going as far back as
1997 using either minute-by-minute or daily charts.
How effective
are the Market Volume Indicators?
An experienced trader conducted his own study of our MV Select and Index
Volume Indicators in order to determine their effectiveness. Tracking
historical minute-by-minute and daily data for 25 indicators back to
1997, he found that in 77 percent of all short-term trading cases, and
in 86 percent of all long-term cases, one could make profitable
decisions based on our indicators. These percentage
success ratios proved correct for both buy and sell signals.
How many chart indicators
can I use simultaneously?
Our Java charts are resizable. You can fit as many as 8 charts on a 1024x768
display.
Which browser do
I need to get your indicators?
You must be running Netscape or Internet Explorer version 4.0 or above.
Why

Can
I place orders and make trades on MarketVolume®?
We provide you with the tools to make trading decisions. In order to place
a trade, you need to contact a broker or use an online service.
How can I benefit from
knowing the index reversal points?
You can trade futures or options contracts on the indexes themselves. You
can also trade stocks designed to mirror specific market indexes. Movements
in major market indexes will often be linked to the trading patterns of specific
stocks. Even if you only trade individual stocks, you will always benefit
by having an advanced indication of what the market as a whole is doing.
