The NASDAQ 100 Index includes 100 of the largest domestic and international non-financial companies listed on The NASDAQ Stock Market based on market capitalization. The Index reflects companies across major industry groups including computer hardware and software, telecommunications, retail/wholesale trade and biotechnology. It does not contain financial companies including investment companies. The NASDAQ 100 Index is calculated under a modified capitalization-weighted methodology.

NASDAQ 100 index consist of 100 nonfinancial companies traded on the NASDAQ Exchanges.

Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG), Baidu.com Inc. (NASDAQ:BIDU) and Intuitive Surgical, Inc. (NASDAQ:ISRG) are the most expensive companies from the Nasdaq 100 listing with $480, $320 and $300 per share respectively as of August 2008. Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) and Research in Motion Limited (NASDAQ:RIMM) cost in the range of $170 and $130 as of August 2008. The cost of the rest of the NASDAQ 100 companies is less than the $100 per share.
